S-Scripture:  Genesis 1:31, “And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good.  And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.”

O-Observation:  When God created man, he breathed into his nostrils the breath of life.  After God finished His creation, He said, “It was very good.”

A-Application:  Since God created every thing, and saw that it was very good, I need to observe God’s creation, and be reminded that God thought it was very good.  If He thinks it was very good, I need to respect His creation by treating others the way I want to be treated, and by taking care of all that He has made.

P-Prayer:  Dear Heavenly Father, Today is not only a new day, it is a new year.  Help me to make the most of the life You have given me, and help me to respect Your creation.  Thank you!  In Jesus Name.  Amen.
