S-Scripture: Exodus 29:45-46, “45 I will dwell among the children of Israel and will be their God. 46 And they shall know that I am the LORD their God, who brought them up out of the land of Egypt, that I may dwell among them. I am the LORD their God.”
O-Observation: God gave some very specific and detailed instructions for Aaron, his sons, and the children of Israel. The reason God was so specific was to remind Israel that He was their God, and that He was the one who delivered them out of Egypt.
A-Application: I am thankful for all of the details and the instructions God has given us so that we can know Him. 1 John 5:13, “13 These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life,and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.” God wants us to know for sure that we have eternal life, just as He wanted Israel to know that He was the One who had delivered them out of Egypt.
P-Prayer: Thank you Father for the Scriptures. Thank you Lord for giving me the opportunity to know you as my personal, Lord, and Savior. Remind me daily that You are MY GOD, and that it is YOU that I depend on and trust! In Jesus name. Amen.
