S-Scripture: Numbers 1:50-51, “50Put the Levites in charge of the Tabernacle of the Covenant, along with all its furnishings and equipment. They must carry the Tabernacle and all its furnishings as you travel, and they must take care of it and camp around it. 51 Whenever it is time for the Tabernacle to move, the Levites will take it down. And when it is time to stop, they will set it up again. But any unauthorized person who goes too near the Tabernacle must be put to death.”
O-Observation: The Levites were responsible for the Tabernacle, its furnishings and equipment. These faithful workers were to tear down the Tabernacle when it was time to move, and they were to set up the Tabernacle when it was time to stop. They were to care for the Tabernacle of the Covenant. They were to camp around the Tabernacle. This job was full time. The Levites were responsible for this place so that the Lord could be worshiped in the manner in which He deserved.
A-Application: This may be a bit of a stretch, but I am thankful for the men and women at StoneBridge! Their work in the area of tearing down and the setting up of our equipment each Sunday is definitely a blessing! Obviously, the Set-Up Crew at StoneBridge is not to be compared to the Levites, but they get my praise and appreciation for a job well done each Sunday.
P-Prayer: Father, I thank you for faithful workers! I thank You for the faithful men and women at StoneBridge who make our service happen each Sunday! Lord, please bless them for their faithfulness. In Jesus Name. Amen!
